Hotels, neighborhoods, trains, reservations, pacing. We make the hundreds of small decisions for you, and hand back one trip that fits.
The Problem
It starts with one hotel search. Then a neighborhood. Then the next city. Then trains, luggage, restaurants, reservations. Each answer creates three new questions.
Thirty-seven tabs later, you still can't tell whether your plan actually works. The problem was never a lack of information about Japan. It's that there is far too much of it — and no one telling you which parts apply to you.
The Difference
What you face alone
What you get from us
Luxury is not having more options. It is knowing the right ones.
Our Work
Instead of 247 options, you get two or three — with a sentence on why each one fits your budget, your area and how you travel.
Which train, what time, how long the walk is, and when to send your bags ahead. No backtracking, no wasted afternoons.
Restaurants, activities and anything that needs Japanese. You just show up at the time we give you.
Where You Stay
A hotel in the wrong area costs you an hour a day in trains. Japan has luxury towers, ryokan, machiya and boutique stays — they suit completely different trips. We pick the two or three that suit yours, and tell you why.
Getting Around
Shinkansen or a flight? Is the JR Pass worth it? Send the suitcase ahead, or drag it? These take hours to research and are easy to get wrong. We answer them once, for your route.
You get the exact train, the exact time, and the reason. When a reserved seat matters, we say so. When a taxi is worth the extra ¥3,000, we say that too.
When you wake up each morning, you know exactly what to do.
The point of good planningCuration
The internet lists everything in Tokyo. We tell you the few things worth your days — and, just as usefully, what to skip.
Reservations
Many of Japan's best restaurants only take bookings by phone, in Japanese, from a Japanese number. Booking sites simply don't list them. We call, book it in your name, and send you the confirmation — plus what time to arrive and what to order.
How It Works
Preferences, budget, hotels, food, pace and priorities. A short form, then a short conversation.
We research and select the options that make sense for your dates, your route and your travel style.
Hotels, transportation, experiences and daily flow are connected into one itinerary that holds together.
Reservations and Japanese-language logistics, including the places that only take local phone bookings.
No spreadsheets. No forty open tabs. No wondering what you forgot to book.
"I live in Japan, so my job isn't to send you everything you could do. It's to help you decide what you should do."
Clients
"Juno booked an 8-seat sushi counter in Shibuya I never would have found alone. The chef knew we were coming and prepared something truly special."
"The itinerary was perfectly paced — we never felt rushed. The Green Car Shinkansen tip alone was worth the service fee."
"When our train was delayed, the team instantly rebooked our dinner reservation via chat. No stress, no language barrier."
